Mariana Cabani

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Mariana graduated from the Cognitive Systems program at the University of British Columbia in 2023, where she gathered experience in teaching as well as volunteering with community-led organizations. As a member of the Community Care team, she’s passionate about ensuring that all community members’ needs are not only met, but also embraced through compassion and mutual respect. In her free time, Mariana can be found indulging in some niche hyper fixation, throwing paint onto canvas, words onto paper, engaging in activism, or spending time with her loved ones.
